Windows Calculator plugin helps to calculate the final cost of PVC plastic windows and order them.

How to start the work with the plugin?
The plugin has a plenty of entities and options indeed. To have an easier start use the demo-data generation from the plugin settings’ page. That will create all ready to use calculators and products the same as for the plugin demo site. To see them in action, use their shortcodes on a page.
In case you have the WooCommerce plugin on your site, special demo-products with calculators will be generated also.Is it possible to use the plugin for different type of products?
I have a not-WordPress based site. Is it possible to use the plugin on it?
Yes! The plugin can provide a pure HTML section to use it on any other site you need.
Just use a separated WordPress site to store the products and other plugin data.
There are also an API and all required hooks available to handle the calculator inquiries on your site level.Is it possible to not calculate the price and just receive products inquiries?
Can I translate the plugin?
To translate the admin elements of the calculator use any 3rd-party plugin. For example, Loco Translate.

Currently, there is no reliable multilingual way, but it’s possible to translate/change any string or label of the calculator. We’re looking for a good solution to support multi-languages, but avoid making entity clones as WPML does. This makes chaos of data.
But for sure, the calculator’s interface can be translated to any language by a browser 😉

Server side of the plugin is mostly used to configure products and its full view. Also, it handles all AJAX-events as storing the cart and creating PDFs. There are public methods to handle all necessary data.
Everything other works in the browser. There are also methods available to work with it.

As all images are SVGs with specific elements and classes, this gives possibility to change their styles using the “Apply CSS” setting of an option value:
Here is an example of such CSS to fill the window’s red:

We are interested in purchasing this calculator, but we are unsure if it can accommodate the specific requirements for working in the UK. The fact is that in the UK, several types of windows with different opening mechanisms are used. For example, sash windows with vertical sliding systems or bay windows, which can have varying numbers of elements, from 2-side square up to 6. Another characteristic feature of the UK market is the use of decorative bars to visually preserve the Victorian style. Also they use the fitches as opening restrictors, ventilation modules. And finally we need to have a possibility to choice type of using glass and DGU. If the calculator has these capabilities, we are ready to proceed with the purchase. Let me know if it possible.

If I understand you right, for your specific case the main difficult might be the visual presentation of the product with decoration bars and fitches. But much probably it still should be possible.
For the extra options – there are no limitations for product types and additional options to provide 😉

There are no direct size units used in the plugin. It only depends on the units you use for your products.
(cm) is just a string of the Width and Height settings, so you can change it whatever you want 😉
